Unit Weekly News 20-26 March

Greetings,

This past weekend, 3d & 4th year cadets participated in a Curriculum In Action trip to JB Charleston where we received a fantastic tour from the 81st Aerial Port Squadron (part of the 315th Airlift Wing). Cadets toured a C-17 Globemaster, witnessed cargo loading training and learned about the Aerial Port – the folks responsible for all the passengers and cargo who transport aboard USAF cargo planes and ensure their safe delivery, including both airland and airdrop options.

This coming week, many cadets are signed up to participate in ARHS’s SwampFest – we are hosting a booth and providing “Buddy” support to hosted students from across the district. Swampfest is scheduled during school for 23 March.

Please note – Our Uniform and Physical Training days are pushed up 1 day early due to the short week for students—24 March is a faculty Staff Day, so no school on Friday.
