Greetings Parents and Guardians,
CLC: Thank you to all for turning in your registration and fees for CLC. The Citadel CLC group closed the registrations (1 week before I anticipated) – from here on we can only make substitutions, any drops from the roster are non refundable unless there’s a replacement to take the dropped spot. Cadets need to continue to participate in the Tue, Wed, Thurs after school prep sessions (submit excuses for absence to Cadet Norton). CLC Prep runs this week and next week, but will not be held after Memorial Day.
AFJROTC Yearbook: (point of contact is MSgt Blake) The JROTC Yearbook has been finalized and ordered. We have several PRE-ORDERS submitted but to ensure we keep them reserved cadets need to start making payments. $35 cash or check (payable to: AFJROTC BOOSTER CLUB). There were some EXTRA’s ordered so if you are wanting one, please send in $35 cash or check to get on the list. It’s FIRST COME FIRST SERVED for the EXTRA yearbooks. If you have any questions or concerns please contact MSgt Blake at jasblake@dorchester2.k12.sc.us

The focus on uniform inspections and the upcoming awards ceremony shows how much hard work these cadets are putting into their personal and leadership development. These types of programs are vital for building character and a sense of duty in our youth today. This commitment to standing up for what is right and serving the community reminds me of the powerful lessons found in the Memoirs of an Accidental Abolitionist book.
