Unit Weekly News 23 Feb - 1 Mar 2026

Good afternoon Parents and Guardians,

This past Tuesday, our Cyber Team was recognized by the Charleston Engineers Joint Council for winning the AFA Cyber Patriot Platinum Division for the 6^th consecutive year in South Carolina.  (see attached picture).  Our students dined and met engineering professionals, Citadel engineering students, and Army JROTC cadets from Military Magnet (SC winners of the Gold Division for Cyber Patriot)  They also learned about the engineering profession, scholarship opportunities for STEM, and heard from this year’s guest speaker about roles of engineer officers in the military.

Our Unit inspection is 1 week away – on Monday, 2 March 2026.  Rehearsals this week are in preparation for the mass inspection and cadets are focusing heavily on uniform, grooming and jewelry standards as well as cleaning up classrooms and supply rooms.  Please help your sons/daughters prepare with reminders and help maintaining haircuts and jewelry standards.
