Unit Weekly News for 10-16 Nov 2026

Good morning Parents and Guardians,

Congratulations to our Drill Team for their excellence at Saturday’s Bulldog Meet competition at The Citadel.  This meet is by-invitation only for our region’s finest multi-service JROTC teams.  The Freshman Squad earned a 1^st place finish in Freshman Regulation Squad Unarmed and 3d place in Freshman Color Guard.  Our team also placed 1^st in Exhibition Duo Armed.  Thank you to the many parents who came out to cheer our team and congratulations to our Drill Team!

Save the date:  Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony and Pass-In-Review, Friday, December 5^th during 2d period (11:05-12:35) in the ARHS Stadium.  Parents and families are welcome to join us to honor our brave men and women who perished on Dec 7, 1941.  Our color guard will perform a flag folding presentation and all cadets will participate in a parade.  Please park in the student parking lot and proceed into the stadium through the home gate – admission is free.

Drop off/Pick Up during construction:   Please drop-off & pick-up cadets in the car rider loop.   Parking is only available in the student parking lot on the west side of campus.  Due to construction between the bus loop and JROTC, there is NO ACCESS to JROTC through our adjacent back door.  Before & after school entry can be made through the Small Cafeteria doors 15 minutes prior to scheduled showtimes.
