Good afternoon parents and guardians,
Inspection: Please join me in congratulating our cadets and instructors on their outstanding execution for Monday’s HQ AFJROTC unit inspection. They did an excellent job, earning a score of 95.5! This, along with their average total of 20.6 hours of community service per cadet and program accomplishments through the year, qualifies our unit for the Distinguished Unit with Merit Award! The efforts and achievements of every cadet contributed to earning this award. Well done!
Cyber: Our cyber team pitted their skills against collegiate opposition hackers during this weekend’s Palmetto Cyber Defense Competition for the top 10 high school teams across South Carolina (8 of which were not JROTC). Our team improved over last year and gained immensely from the experience. I’m proud of their hard work with their coaches across the last two months to prepare for this test.
CLC: Basic and Cadre cadets registering for CLC have two additional documents which need to be accomplished. First is an online waiver for the Leadership Lab located at
Second is for Dorchester District 2 and is attached above. Instead of printing, the DD2 form can be picked up in class and turned in with their registration packet.
The parent information meeting will be held in JROTC on Tuesday 22 Apr 2025 at 6pm for 1 hour. We will have two notaries available for the CLC medical form, we can accept registration fees and paperwork and will be glad to answer any questions.
