Greetings Parents & Guardians,

• Congratulations to our competitive extra-curricular (LDR) teams!  The picture attached is from Patriot Challenge at Fort Dorchester High School this past Saturday where 13 JROTC programs competed in Academics, Aeronautics, Drill & Raider events.

  • Our Drill Team placed 2d overall, earning:  1^st place-Duet Exhibition w/Arms, 1^st place-Platoon Basic w/out Arms, 2d place-Individual Exhibition w/Arms, and 3d place in Squad Basic w/Arms, Platoon Basic w/Arms and Color Guard – Outstanding amongst a highly competitive group.

• Raider Team placed 2d in the Endurance Challenge

• Aeronautics placed 1^st overall (Drone & Rocketry)

  • 1^st place-Drone Slalom

  • 2d place - Rocketry Team Spot Landing

  • 3d place – Rocketry Individual Spot Landing (Cadet Leahy)

• Congratulations Cyber Team:  Thursday, at Cyber Patriot round 2 competition, preliminary results show our team:

  • 1^st place in South Carolina across all services JROTC teams

  • 15^th place nationally across all AFJROTC teams (49 point separation in round 2)

  • On track to qualify for Platinum Division for the state finals round (round 3)

• Reminder to please drop off/pick-up cadets during the week for before/after school activities in the car rider loop – there is no access to JROTC from the bus loop.
