Unit Weekly News for 28 Apr - 4 May

Greetings parents and guardians,

Welcome back to our CIA Trip participants, they are scheduled to return later this afternoon.  I’m told the trip has been Awesome as they toured Kennedy Space Center and visited Sea World’s Aquatica & Fun Town USA!  A huge thank you to MSgt Powell for coordinating the trip and to MSgt Blake and our parent chaperones for making the trip possible!

The 2024-2025 ARHS AFJROTC Yearbook will go on sale soon for $35 each.  Cadets will see announcements in the coming weeks.

Reminders:

4/30:  CLC registration paperwork and fees are due Wednesday, April 30th.  Make checks payable to ARHS AFJROTC.  Simply drop off the paperwork and payment with any instructor.

5/8:  Parents and families are invited to attend our annual Awards and Change of Command Ceremony on Thursday, 5/8 from 1730 (5:30pm) to 1830 (6:30pm) in the ARHS Auditorium.

5/10:  We’re looking for a few parents to help with lunch distribution at Field Day on Saturday 5/10.  If interested, please let me know.  Lunch prep will start at 10:30 and lunch will end by 12:30

5/16:  Deadline to return uniforms for Graduating and non-returning cadets.  Uniforms need to be cleaned (dry clean for dark blue uniform items) and turned in to MSgt Powell to avoid fees.
