Unit Weekly News for 29 Jan - 4 Feb

Greetings, 

A huge thank you to all parents for your support to our annual Fierce Fox Meet 2024.  Thank you to our parent volunteers for setting up and maintaining our concessions and hospitality suite, to our booster officers for being our "go to" for visiting guests, also to our school custodial, security and nursing staff for their support, and to our parents who braved fog to get our cadets in at O'Dark Early and returned for pickup in the late afternoon.

Our cadets did a fantastic job and we are very pleased with their accomplishment.  Over 500 cadets from 17 different schools, as far away as Georgia competed across Academics, Drill, Raiders, Air Rifle, Drone and Rocketry.   On their behalf,  I've received numerous positive remarks for their positive attitudes and hard work.

A special tank you to our instructors, MSgt Powell, MSgt Blake and retired instructor Maj Bill Clark – their experience and perseverance are the glue to the cadets' success.

Next our priorities shift gear to our upcoming Air Force inspection from USAF HQ AFJROTC on 23 Feb amidst hiring interviews for next year's staff, several upcoming competitions, along with Military Ball prep.  We're operating at a high pace - thanks to our cadets and your support.
