Unit Weekly News for 5 - 11 Feb 2024

Greetings parents and Guardians,

Congratulations to our Drill Team for their achievements at the Stratford Drill Meet against 6 local area JROTC drill teams.  Our Swamp Foxes earned an overall 2d place finish – a great lead in for next week’s larger competition at Charleston Southern University. 

 Our team placed

1st in Platoon Basic with Arms,

2d place in Platoon Basic without Arms,

 2d place in Duet Exhibition with Arms and

3d place in Individual Basic with Arms. 

Congratulations!  Well done. 

This week our focus continues on prep for our Air Force Major HQ annual inspection, scheduled for 23 Feb.  We need our cadets with sharp hair and uniforms for the mass inspection.  If cadets need any uniform items, they need to ask this week as Logistics will shut down for final inventory.  Everyone across all year groups have been preparing and working hard – this is our opportunity to earn recognition for their hard work throughout the year.
