Unit Weekly News for 8-14 Dec 2025

Greetings Parents and Guardians,

Thank you to our cadets who volunteered to support the parking detail for our ARHS Future Business Leaders of America annual conference.  Thank you for everyone’s responsiveness to the postponement of the Pass In Review parade (date tbd) and rescheduling of the Wando Warrior Meet to 2/14/2026 due to weather.

This week, our Cyber Team will compete in the state finals round for Cyber Patriot.  Our team qualifies in the top tier for the Platinum division and is strongly ranked 1^st across all JROTC teams in South Carolina.  The final rankings are cumulative across rounds 1 & 2 plus the state round later this week.  We currently sit 7^th across all AFJROTC cyber teams nationally.  Our team has been diligent and are postured well to qualify for the national semi-final round Jan 22-24.

Please note there are no further scheduled uniform days remaining in Semester 1.  This is a good time for cadets who need different size uniforms due to growth spurts, to dry clean and swap out items for better fitment.

It’s also a good time to make up any missing uniform grades for partial credit as missing 3 or more uniform grades exceeds compliance standards.

Our cadets have done an amazing job in Semester 1 – they have accumulated over 1,460 hours of community service and 3,000 hours of extra-curricular training & activities.  Cadets are progressing toward our unit HQ inspection during Semester 2.  Thank you for your support – our next major endeavor is Fierce Fox Meet 2026 in January, where we will host 400 cadets from 20 local schools, swiftly followed by our Military Ball in February.
