Unit Weekly News for 9 - 15 Dec 2024

Greetings Parents and Guardians,

The Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony and Pass-In-Review on Thursday, Dec 5th was an outstanding event. There were more than 120 spectators in attendance.  Thank you to all the parents and families who came out to watch and thank you to you all for your support to our cadets as they put in a tremendous amount of work with many late night practices and in-flight rehearsals to make it a success.

I’d like to give a HUGE shout out to our Drill & Raider Teams for their performance at this weekend’s Wando Warrior (part 1) competition!  Ashley Ridge AFJROTC placed 3d Overall against 11 local JROTC programs.  Our cadets trained extensively and earned the following

:

1st place – Drill Overall

1st place – Individual Armed Exhibition & Duet Unarmed Exhibition

2d place – Flight Unarmed Regulation, Element Armed Regulation & Duet Armed Exhibition

3d place – Competition Color Guard

2d place – Raiders Commander’s Event
