SNAP!RAISE FUNDRAISER RESULTS

• $22,110 RAISED! SURPASSED THE UNIT GOAL!

• 288 SUPPORTERS CONTRIBUTED.

• BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE PARENTS AND CADETS WHO SUPPORTED THE FUNDRAISER!

• Events in recognizing those cadets who participated in the fundraiser and the top 3 fundraiser cadets will be held on 19 November, Friday during ILT.

FALLFEST

• Cadets really enjoyed the games, activities, movie, and food during Fall Fest held on Saturday.

• Even though the event had to be moved in doors due to the weather, the event was a success.

• A big thank you to culinary for providing a wonderful dinner to the cadets.

• Those cadets who had ordered food and failed to attend the event are still obligated to pay what was ordered. Please being your money to the First Shirt on Monday or Tuesday of this week. Culinary has to still be paid whether a cadet was there or not.

• Food was prepared based on the orders placed by cadets before the event. All cadets were supposed to pay for the event by Friday.

AIR RIFLE POSTAL MEET

• AIR Rifle Team competed in the Blue Fall Postal Competition on Sunday at ARHS Main Gym.

UPCOMING EVENTS

• Uniform Inspection Tuesday and Wednesday, ABUS for applicable cadets with blues open collar for all other cadets.

• Seniors will wear their ABUS on Tuesday due to Senior Picture on Wednesday.

• Students will be dismissed on Wednesday at 1 PM to go home.

• Team practices have changed this week due to early out on Wednesday and upcoming meet on Saturday.

• Wando AFJROTC Warrior Meet

  • All competition Teams except Cyber will be competing on Saturday, 13 November.

  • All parents are invited. Another email will be sent out this week with additional information for parents who are planning to attend.

• Cyber Team will be competing this Sunday at The Citadel for AFA Cyber Patriot Round 2.

• See attached unit weekly schedule for additional events.

TOYS FOR TOTS

• The unit’s Toys For Tots Fundraiser will be starting in late November and end on 14 December.

• Cadets will be given service points depending on types of toys turned in.

• Charleston Marine Unit holds this annual event for deserving children at Christmas time.

• Cadets have always participated in this fundraiser and have enjoyed turning in toys for others to enjoy. Small to large toys are accepted, even bicycles.

• Start looking for those toys to donate!
